Wat we gemeen hebben

My dog's name is Captain Mouse, and we saved each other. In the years we've been together, we've started to behave more and more like each other. Is it because we've adjusted our schedules to one another, or - and I prefer this more poetic thought - have we become a kind of joint organism precisely because we can be so unashamedly ourselves with each other? Who can say, but it has certainly inspired me to create this comic:
