Everything I Made - Part 7

Everything I Made - Part 7

Here's a message from me, after a wonderful summer! On Monday, we're starting preparations for the new season of LUBACH, so it's a great time for this newsletter.

I've moved to Soest and have set up my new studio. It's the best room ever, because it's pink. I'll show you more of it soon.

My new favorite room, at a suspiciously tidy moment.

And now: everything I've made since last time! (Not really everything, but almost everything.)

First, a tiny forest

I started with six A5-sized works. I tried a collage, I made a portrait again, and I created landscapes with small figures in them.

I'm thinking about a picture book about Vlieland. I already have an idea for a story and I think I also know what it will look like. Now I just need to find the time to finish it. I'll keep you updated!

I also made a new card set: eight different cards, two A5 and six A6. They are available on my website!

Painting Vlieland

And then came the news I'm very excited about: from September, I'll be exhibiting at Brouwerij Fortuna on Vlieland! I spent a large part of the summer creating work, like the ice rink above.

Vlieland is (after my pink studio) my favorite place. Below you can see how I combine things: I paint the Drowned Man's Cottage in my pink room while watching a reality show. You can't make me happier.

Four seasons in playing card size

In between, I made ACEOs. These are miniature artworks measuring 64 by 89 millimeters, about the size of a playing card. Very small, indeed. They are meant for collecting. View all the cards I made here. They are all numbered, signed, and unique.

I also painted on holiday

In Tyrol, I also had my drawing supplies with me. I painted this landscape in Berwang:

Back in the Netherlands, I made Cloud Trees and Cloud Shrubs, two A5 paintings:

Vlieland

Eventually, we also went to Vlieland for a week. Now, summer is almost over for us.

Still a small Drowned Man's Cottage

After we visited the Drowned Man's Cottage again this week, I made this A5 detail.

That was everything I made, I think. Let me know which work is your favorite, I'd love to hear it <3

You can find my work on Instagram as @10e and in my webshop.

Greetings!
