November 20th 2022: two stacks of trees

This is my dog Captain Mouse. She loves being in the same room as me, so when I paint she's on the chair next to me, preferably wrapped in a blanket of some sort, snoring. It's a very comforting sound.

Today I will be using these colors:

• Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors: Cascade Green
• Winsor & Newton Cotman Water Colours: Intense Blue (Phthalo Blue)
• Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors: Nickel Azo Yellow
• Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors: Quinacridone Magenta

I use one A4-sheet of Arches Aquarelle paper (cold pressed, 300 g/m2) and cut it into two A5-sheets.

I'm using this brush. It's very versatile since it can produce wide and very thin lines (due to the very fine point on the brush).
